Neat room and a living area and a terrace inside. Amazing and particularly good location for our visit to Naval Museum of Oia at a short distance from the hotel.

Bored staff!

The hotel was placed in the secluded location to various places. Luckily it was close to Mezzo Cafe, had pastries there when it was hot outside.

Delicious and enjoyable breakfast with a good choice of hot/cold dishes. Best possible and comfortable location for my purposes. Good food in the poolside restaurant in the vicinity.

If you're looking for the perfect romantic getaway with breathtaking views, Canaves is the place for you. The location is excellent, right at the start of "jewelry street" with an amazing view of the caldera. The service is top-notch, with attentive staff who go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. The rooms are private and peaceful, with all the amenities you need. The breakfast is excellent, and the little treats left in the room each day were a nice touch.

Power went out several times

Beautiful location, excellent service, friendly staff. Both day and night managers were enthusiastic and very helpful. Particularly appreciated the free room upgrade upon check-in. I should note that the hotel does not directly access the pedestrian-only section of Oia; rather, it is located a short walk away on a narrow street.

Swimming pool was a standard pool at the top of the resort - preferred the hotels with infinity type pools towards the bottom of resort (overlooking the caldera rather than hotel rooms)

Well-situated luxury property with stunning Caldera views and easy access. Extensive travel experience, but this resort exceeded all expectations. Celebrated our 30th Anniversary with warm and welcoming staff. Upgraded to a phenomenal suite with thoughtful touches. Enormous, posh décor, and comfortable beds. Exceptional, above-and-beyond staff, perfect hospitality.

You can request for anything and they would try their best to serve you.

Pool was not heated, which was an issue in May.

The overall experience here was perfect, and there are beautiful tourist places nearby like the maritime museum.

The location was wow!! Our reservation was upgraded to a junior suite which was very much appreciated. The breakfast spread was lavish. The service and quality of food served in the restaurant was outstanding. The stay was perfect & if you want to stay at Oia then you should be prepared to climb that many steps.

The hotel charged my card 50% of the tariff and did not stick with the booking conditions. Of course they refunded it after a bit of correspondence.

Just wanted to mention that this hotel is unreal on the opposite side. There are two sides...one upgraded and one traditional. The location is excellent for both. If you want to book a suite, you will get the upgraded beautiful side with larger pool, better breakfast ect. The traditional side also has amazing views and you cannot beat staying in OIA. In fact, if you come to Santorini, you must stay in Oia. Dessy was amazing at the front desk. Hospitality was incredible. My room #5 was large, great views, access to street with wrap around balcony. But the suites were out of this world but much more expensive. Perfect for romance and privacy.

Canaves has a terrific view of all of Santorini with a romantic setting. Staff was superb.

We stayed at a hotel in Santorini that was conveniently located near the pedestrian walkway to the rest of the town. The room we had was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely bathroom that had a separate rain shower. The service at the hotel was exceptional, with the staff being kind and helpful at all times. The breakfast served was absolutely fantastic, one of the best we've ever had. The hotel also had great facilities, including a private pool and a bar by the river pool.

The only downside was that the Wi-Fi connection in our room was a bit of a nuisance as it wouldn't connect properly.
